When should I apply for the group discount rate?
Before registering each member of the group.
How do I request the discounted rate?
You must send an email to reunionanual@apla.lat with the following information:
Number of participants
Payment method: Individual payment or a single payment for the total number of participants.
Once the group discount rate has been applied, the number of participants requested must be equivalent to the payment made.
Is there a refund if I cancel my registration?
Yes, refunds will be made taking into account the following deadlines:
Until September 12th, 2023: | From September 13th until October 14th, 2023: | From October 13th, 2022: | Absent |
70% of the amount paid will be refunded.

Can I substitute my attendance with that of a colleague from the same company?
Substitution of a participant with another from the same company will be allowed free of charge.
When will refunds be made in case of cancellation?
Refunds will be made after the end of the meeting.
Cancellation Policy: Exclusive benefit for MEMBERS.
50% of the amount paid for the registration to the Latin American Logistics Meeting of the following year will be taken as credit or 100% of the amount paid will be taken as credit for the registration to the Latin American Petrochemical Annual Meeting of the current year. The credit is non-transferable.
CANCELLATION REFUND POLICY:
If the registrant wishes to have the refund credit (at the appropriate percentage) taken against future registrations, it may be used at one of the next 3 APLA meetings.
- a) If the registrant belongs to an APLA ANNUAL CONTRIBUTOR MEMBER company, the credit may be used by the company for the payment of a future registration. For this reason, it may be transferred to another person of the same company.
- b) If the registrant belongs to an APLA NON-MEMBER ANNUAL CONTRIBUTOR company, the credit is non-transferable.
COST PER REFUND ACCORDING TO THE MEANS OF PAYMENT:
- a) For payments made by credit card, 7% of the paid fee will be retained for administrative expenses.
- b) For payments made by bank transfer, U$S 60 will be retained for bank administrative expenses.
What is the dress code?
Business casual: No jacket or tie is required.

The host hotel is the Sheraton São Paulo.
When can I book a room at the host hotel?
At the end of your registration process you will be able to access the link to book a room at the host hotel.
APLA has the right to cancel the hotel reservation if the registration is not paid within 5 days of receiving the invoice.

Reservations made through the Link can be cancelled up to 72 hours before the check-in date.
How do I book a meeting space?
“CLICK HERE to select the meeting space(s) (rooms, tables, and stands) you would like to secureand be sure to send us your selection, in order of preference, between April 10 – 28, 2023.
Once this deadline passes, APLA will assign the meeting areas according to the applications received. In the event more than one company requests the same space for a meeting, the space will be allocated taking into account the following conditions:
1) That the company is an APLA member. (*)
2) That the company is an annual APLA contributor and the type of contribution it makes.
3) The number of participants the company has registered for the 43 rd Annual Latin American Petrochemical Meeting.
The assignment of meeting areas will be notified as of May 17, 2023.
(*) To access this benefit, the annual calendar year fee must be paid.”
